The sugar level of Kombucha will be determined by the brewing time. The longer the brew, the less the sugar. As we are brewing our Kombucha for up to 60 days – the sugar is completely consumed by the bacillus – and gives us sugar free kombucha! Longer brewing also increases the amount of bacillus and reduced the yeast, which in turn stabilizes our kombucha.
Organic Green Tea
Used in our flagship brand, Tea Gardens Kombucha, organic green is the foundation of our kombucha due to the antioxidant levels being very high. During the fermentation process there is no loss of the benefits of the green tea as the Kombucha consumes only the nitrogen & caffeine from the tea leaves. It provides our Kombucha the perfect companion to ensure all the goodness is passed onto to our customers in every bottle!
Flavouring
Our brew is sweetened with Organic Fermented Glucose [which cannot be metabolised] and then the flavour is added. All flavour profiles are in the form of Australian natural essences. Any carbohydrate is the starch from the culture itself.
